Dona Flor Salecao

Originally posted October 13, 2007 on Herfspace (before they deleted everything!)

Again Dona Flor didn’t let me down. This week I picked up a Selecao. Like most of this brand, the construction was perfect. Although they aren’t the prettiest of cigars, they deliver where it counts. This was no exception. Consisting of tobacco from Brazil, it was everything I expected from Dona Flor. The body was medium but packed with flavor. I recall a nice tobacco flavor, coffee, cocoa, and as usual flavors I can never quite pin down with Dona Flor/Alonzo Menendez stogies. I consider tobacco from Brazil to having a rich dessert after dinner.
