I’m a beginner, and really appreciate this video. Just bought my first box of cigars. Have a humi-tube i’m putting inside to keep up the humidity, All of the cigars came in plastic wrappers. Should I remove them before I put them in my Humidor or keep them in the wrappers?

Phil – Glad we could help with the video.

About removing or keeping the cigars in cellophane… It’s an age old question. Some prefer to take them out, some keep them in. I speculate that removing the cellophane probably helps in aging cigars quicker. It may speed up new cigars acclimating to your humidor as well. In the end, I don’t think it really matters. It’s just a personal preference. As of now, I leave the cello on, but I used to take each cigar out of the cello before placing in the humidor.
