Oliva Serie G Cameroon
This morning I sat down with an Oliva Serie G Cameroon and a cup of coffee. A very nice combination.
Size: 7X50 (Churchill)
Wrapper: Cameroon (African)
Binder: Cuban-Seed Habano
Filler: Nicaraguan Habano
Price: $3-5.00
First Third:
Things started off in the mild to upper mild range. The cigar was very smooth and easy to pass through the sinuses. The flavor was tough for me to pin down, but eventually I picked them out. Passing smoke through the sinuses left a very slight peppery flavor. There was a definite toasty and butter like flavor. The smoke had a creamy sensation.
Second Third:
The body increased sightly into the low medium range at best. The creaminess increased, and a nice nutty, buttery flavor took over. The slight pepper remained, but I could only notice it when passed through the sinus. I also started alternating between water and coffee to clean the pallet. So far, a very enjoyable experience.
Last Third:
Still remaining in the low-medium range, this cigar was great all the way to the end. The nutty and buttery taste increased slightly. The slight peppery notes continued, and it remained smooth.
Conclusion:
This is a great, easy smoke. I prefer it in the morning, but if a mild to medium cigar is your thing, this is good any time of the day. When ever I reach for something fairly mild, this is my go to stick. I give it a thumbs up.
As always, below is the amazing slide show.

I was never a fan of Oliva cigars til I found the Nub. When I learned Oliva had their hands in on the making of it I revisited Olivia.. and I wondered What the hell was I thinking!
This is a really good cigar company, that produces some fine sticks!
