I Have Arrived!
For whatever reason, I’ve always coveted hate mail/comments on my blog, or from any where really. I’ve fallen short of this goal here at TomsCigars. Recently, I became very excited by a post on The Stogie Review.
Joe wrote:
“The sound for me was fine but the video feed was awful. So distracting I lost interest in the entire video. Sorry to be so harsh, but the new guy from his porch has the same problem. All the rest of the critiques are so much better. I always look forward to a new one.”
The first three sentences were quite a thrill to me. It had the hater elements I’ve been looking for. But then I was thrown off by the last two nicer comments, as well as the apology for being “Harsh.” I was also thrown off by the fact that the video was fine, but the audio was horrible. He got me with the ol reverse gimmick. I bow to you.
At the end of the day, I realized this post was really not the hating I’ve been waiting for. It pales in comparison to the hating Brian was subjected to awhile back. The other Stogie Review guys have been subjected to similar levels of hate as well. Let’s not forget Stew, who had one of the best haters visit his blog. But none of it has filtered to my little blog. I guess I haven’t really arrived… O well.
