Your Questions, Ed’s Answers?

Thanks to all who have emailed me questions, and left comments here. Every now and then, I’ll bump this post to the top. Keep the question’s coming!

OK, so we aren’t starting a new Q&A show. The Stogie Review already does that, and they do a great job. If you haven’t been there, leave here immediately, then re-visit my blog at another time!

I hang out with Ed all the time, but many of you aren’t as fortunate as me. So…
If any of you have any question’s you’d like Ed (or even me) to answer, feel free to leave them in a comment here, or email me at cigarblog@tomscigars.com. Ed has a wealth of cigar knowledge to offer.

What is your opinion on Illusione cigars? What do you think it is that produces that sweet/savory flavor in the Illusione CG4? What causes the clove-like flavor you get in many Pepin-made torpedos towards the last third(i.e. Tatuaje Unicos, Series JJ torpedo etc.)? What cigar has the most prominent nut flavor? Thanks and keep up the great job.

Tom,

I have to say you and Ed do a great job with the reviews. I really enjoy them and have tried many of the smokes for myself. I have been going through all of the reviews to try and catch up. Again, great work and keep ‘em coming.

What do you and/or Ed think of the Don Pepin line, specifically the black?
