Reyes Family Classic
Up for review is the Reyes Family Classic. I pairing with water this time around.
Construction:
The cigar was somewhat soft, but bounced back when squeezed. The wrapper looked nice, with no major flaws. The ash held on for an inch or so, and the burn was close to perfect. On to the review!
Wrapper – Natural Ecuador Sumatra
Binder – Ecuador Sumatra
Filler – Brazil, Dominican Republic, Ecuador & Nicaragua
Size – 6 X 56
The first third started off very buttery and earthy. There wasn’t really anything more to it than that.
Towards the middle of the second third, the buttery flavor increased, and a VERY slight nutty flavor was way in the background. The last third pretty much remained the same as the second.
Conclusion:
This is a light bodied cigar that would probably go well in the morning with coffee. It definitely isn’t a full flavored “Wow” cigar. It’s one dimensional flavor profile sort of reminds me of the Rocky Patel Connecticut. I could see how this cigar would bore some people. If you are in to mild bodied cigars, I’d say give this one a shot.
As always, on to the slide show:
