Tom’s Top Five Cigars Of 2008
I’ve noticed that many blogs have their top 10 cigars of 2008. I figured I’d join in, but condense it into my top 5 cigars of 2008. At one time or another, these cigars were reviewed here. I provided links for easy reference. And now… from 5th to 1st, here’s my list:
#5: Por Larranaga Cuban Grade – For such a mild cigar, this thing really packs in the flavor.
#4: Oliva Serie V – Oliva’s venture into full bodied cigars was a winner.
#3: Fuente Fuente Opus X – I wanted to hate this cigar, but the Opus X delivered a great experience.
#2: Dona Flor – After trying this, I was hooked. Ed and I chose the Dona Flor for our first cigar review together for obvious reasons. I smoke these often.
And my number one cigar of 2008 is…
The Partagas Serie P No. 2 - To me, this is the holy grail of Cuban cigars. The Serie P deliverers awesome flavor unique to tobacco from Cuba, and leaves me wanting another.
