Video playback problems

I’ve had quite a few complaints lately about video playback problems. For each video I also include a link to another location where they can be viewed. Call it a failback option if you will.

If Viddler, which is where the the videos are hosted, doesn’t clear up in the near future, I’ll switch over to the other locations for your convenience. In the mean time, if you still have buffering problems watching the videos, try the alternate location provided for each review.

Ed and I will be getting together very soon. This weekend I’m visiting Jerry for a review.

STILL no word from Viddler on what the problem is. I know the service is free, but what good is it when it doesn’t work properly? Sheesh…

Have you given Blip.tv a try? I know they slow down a bit here and there, but they seem to have a decent service.

Also if people are getting jerkiness when playing the video, just press the pause button for a minute or two, then begin watching – most people know this, but for the few who dont, it will buffer more of the video and make up for more of a slow down from the service.

I will normally start a vid and let it buffer over to at least halfway before i start playing it.
