Oliva Serie O
Today’s review comes to you courtesy of Jeremiah all the way from Korea. He recently sent me his thoughts on the Oliva Serie O. I’ve had good experiences with this cigar, although it’s been awhile. Check it out:
OLIVA SERIE O
Wrapper: Sun Grown Habano
Binder: Nicaraguan Habano
Filler: Nicaraguan Habano
Size: 5.0” X 55
Price: $5.20

FIRST THIRD:
This cigar started with a potent coffee taste, which lasted for about the first two minutes when a sweet undertone kicked in with it. The two complimented each other very well. The potency of the coffee mellowed out toward the middle of the first third and into the second. The burn was staying consistent with no need for any touch ups.

SECOND THIRD:
The coffee taste subsided into the background flavor while a very mild plain tobacco taste began to emerge. There was also a slight caramel flavor, which lingered on the palate after each puff. This complimented the Hazel nut coffee that I was pairing with the cigar and the two flavors made it a very nice tasting smoke. It was very pleasant on the palate and lingered for a while after each puff.

LAST THIRD:
The mild plain tobacco taste with a slight undertone of sweetness lasted thru the entire last third of the cigar. The smoke was plentiful and the sweetness lingered on the palate, which was very comforting.

CONCLUSION:
I give the Oliva Serie O a wavering thumbs up. This is a very nice morning smoke to help start the day with a fresh cup of coffee. The burn stayed consistent throughout the entire cigar and the flavor profile was not very complex. It was just a nice relaxing mild smoke. I recommend trying this cigar. You will not be disappointed.
