Rocky Patel r4 Corojo
Once again, all the way from Korea, Jeremiah was kind enough to send us his thoughts on the Rocky Patel R4 Corojo. I’ve never had this cigar, but from the sound of it, I’ll have to give it a try. Here’s Jeremiah’s take:
ROCKY PATEL R4 COROJO
Wrapper: Corojo
Filler: Honduran
Binder: Nicaraguan
Size: 5.0” X 50
Price: $2.50

FIRST THIRD:
The pre-light aroma of this cigar was strong and the draw was a little tight. The initial flavor was of roasted nut, which left a honey type sweetness on the lips. This was a very pleasant taste.

SECOND THIRD:
A slight creaminess crept in as I started digging into the second third. It was mixed with a woody flavor that was smooth on the palate. After having a few sips of water I noticed that I still had a thick full feeling on the palate and this became more noticeable after each puff. The burn required several touch ups and this was a bit of a distraction. Nonetheless, the taste of the cigar was all right.

LAST THIRD:
The wood flavor remained thru the rest of the cigar and had a sort of creamy finish to it. The burn line continued to need constant touch ups and this was annoying.

CONCLUSION:
The over all taste of the cigar was great. The burn gave me a lot of trouble this time around. I smoked few of these in the weeks before writing this and had little to no trouble with them until now. For the price, you cannot go wrong with this cigar. Recommend.
