It’s time for Ed and I to do our monthly guest spot over at The Stogie Review. This time we decided on the Dona Flor Selecao. After Dona Flor found new tobacco producers, I was curious if they would compare to their product before the change. Check out the review and see what we thought.

Nice review just didnt seem to POP for either of you. Seemed to be a nice cigar, but maybe to strong on the coffee? Might have to pick one up if i ever see any here in BFE.

I really enjoy these cigars. The price is a little high for a Robusto, but still great smokes. I enjoy the strong coffee flavors, and that Brazilian tobacco ZING. Good stuff.

Nice review, guys. What cigars would you compare these to, in terms of similarities? These are a little hard to find in the local B&M. I might have to give Ed a call to get some sent to Colorado.

TCR – A lot of the flavor profile isn’t unique to Dona Flor… BUT, like I mention in the review, something about a Brazilian puro – there is a flavor unque to them. I really like them.

Revisited this review, and I think I will order some of these from Ed since I can’t find a local B&M to buy them. It’s quite cool that Ed does the reviews with you, but it would be ultra pink-hair and mustache cool if Ed would offer some discount promos for tomscigars.

Nice! I want to pull the trigger on a box but keep delaying it. Hope you enjoy them. I always do.
