I got 5 of these Criollos a while back. The first 4 were great core flavors of oak and coffee with a little sweet added. The last one which I smoked this morning made me feel as if I hit the cigar lottery. It started off with rich tobacco flavor with creamy oak through the nose. About an inch in the sweetness developed into a heavy caramel, which was almost too much on the upper palate, but nice. Middle 3rd the caramel gave way to some baking spice, like cinnamon. Last 3rd the caramel came back with the creamy oak and coffee. It was like the culmination of a fireworks show, where they throw everything at you at once. Awesome!

This and the Rocky Vintage series are probably the most consistently great cigars I've had. Great review Tom.

Nice review. I picked up 30 of the Perdomo 10th Anniversary Maduro Robustos and for $3.33 a stick I'm really enjoying them. Chocolate is the main flavor followed by coffee grounds and earth. If there were notes of spice, this would be my go to cigar.
