Yup the ol “If it smells like shit, it probably is a good cigar” has held true most of the time.
I just ordered a bundle of these sticks. I will compare them to this first impression review and post a quick follow up soon.

Great review!

I got one of these sometime back when I ordered a 5 cigar herf-a-dor promo from CI. At first I was afraid to smoke it because the wrapper smelled like horse shit! Luckily I watch enough Ed & Tom videos that I finally got the courage to smoke it as Ed proclaims every time he smells the Barn Poo he finds that the Cigar is an AWESOME SMOKE! Needless to say I bought 2 boxes of these baby’s and have them in my morning rotation!

These are definitely Macanudo Killers! I smoke Park Avenue Torpedoes in my morning rotation alongside the Oliva Connecticut Robusto, Perdomo Champagne & Camacho Connecticut Figurado. That is some tough company to hang with but this cigar is right in there with the big boys!

Zach – Ed is OK and we’ll be back hopefully before the month is over. We may be doing a new Gurkha if I remember correctly. Ed has it all figured out.

Matthew – Yup… This cheap-o value cigar shames a Macanudo Vintage easily. At least in my opinion. I’m gonna be getting more of these for morning with coffee smokes!
