Everyone knows that this site wouldn’t exist without the help of The Stogie Review. This is a given. This brings me to the topic at hand. What was the top referring site in October? Read on…
I was looking at tomscigars.com stats a minute ago, and couldn’t help but notice a lot of clicks came to my site via A Cigar Smokers Journal. This was my number one referral site in October, with over 70 of you finding me via acigarsmoker.com.

It’s all good Luke! Even Barry got snubbed by some cigar sites when he started.
Just to play devils advocate, I think the main reason for smaller sites being snubbed initially is simple. There are a ton of cigar blogs out there, and they just come and go. Many newer blogs start strong and fizzle away within 6 months to a year. So many of the larger sites want to share link love with sites that have shown they’ll be around awhile. I totally understand this.
My take is… I’ll share link love with almost any fellow cigar blogger. If in time the site fizzles out, I’ll remove their link. It’s kind of a pain but worth the minimal hassle.
