Wow 3 lighters in a month. I ended up assigning my Axia to travel duty. For example I use it every Friday when I visit Ed’s shop. For daily home smoking, I stick with a $20.00 Creme Brulee torch I got at Bed Bath and Beyond.

I went through 3 Xikar cigar lighters in 3 months. They always replaced them but I got fed up and concluded they are junk. They just stopped working.

Luke – The sticker shock gets to me as well. Like you said, the redeeming feature is the warranty on Xikar’s stuff. You do pay a premium price, but I feel you get what you pay for in the end.
