Many of you have been asking me lately… What’s up with reviews by Ed & Tom?! Read on…

Any new cigar review site who has asked me for advice has heard me say… Consistency is important. So now it is time for the Ed and Tom show to practice what I preach. With the success of Ed’s new shop, some complications were introduced in making video cigar reviews. I think we can now work around those issues.

Ed and I have a new review in the can, and we’ll be back on Stogie Review within the week. So stay tuned as we get back in to our old routine you’ve all come to expect.

It has been said by Jerry that the Stogie Review is your site – Yours, mine, everyone’s. It was that mindset that brought the Ed and Tom show into existence, as well as this site. This mindset remains true today. So keep an eye out over at Stogie Review. And yes, you will start seeing Ed and I over there more consistently. No more excuses!

This short video is another walk through of Ed’s new shop. This time around, things are really starting to take shape, and progress has been made. We would all like to see it done NOW, but there is a lot more to opening a cigar shop and lounge then meets the eye.

So take a minute as we continue our journey of the birth of a cigar shop (In high-def!).

Anyone who knows me has already heard about my pal Ed’s cigar shop. He is in a very small lot, and literally crams in tons of inventory. A quick tour of the current location can be found here. It was only a matter of time before he would have to expand. And that’s exactly what he is going to do. In addition to more retail floor space, Ed is taking it to the next level with what will be a huge smoking lounge.

While St. Pete Cigar currently has the biggest inventory in St. Petersburg, FL, this will solidify his position even more. This little 2 minute video is a walk though of Ed’s new, unfinished cigar shop. Stay tuned for more updates and see the progress take place right here.

Just a quick update. I’m sure you’ve noticed a lack of reviews around here lately.

It appears that I’ve come down with something known as the common cold. This has me spraying decongestants up my nose, and spraying Chloraseptic in my mouth. While that makes life bearable, it leaves little for my palate. I tried smoking a familiar cigar, and while it was enjoyable, every puff reminded me of decongestant chemicals. It wouldn’t be fair to even consider reviewing a cigar until this shit blows over. So stay tuned, I’ll be back SOON.

The answer is simple… I’ve been short on time these days. Setting up a video cigar review takes more planning and time then one would expect, not to mention editing. But enough excuses… Essentially Ed has been waiting on me.

Ed and I have slated some time in the very near future to review the Quesada Tributo. To switch things up a little, we will be joining a guy you may know. He runs a cigar review site that I really like. I featured it as a Site of the Month not too long ago. It should be a good time hanging out and seeing how the Tributo treats us. Stay tuned!
